Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
When we have political discussions, it can be very easy to only engage with people we agree with. So today I'm stepping outside the box and invited a young black conservative to the show. He goes by Tyler Bluntman and calls himself the terrible conservative. He affiliates with the constitutional party, he supports legalizing marijuana and believes abortion is murder and that's just the tip of the iceberg. You don't want to miss this episode.

Tuesday Jan 07, 2020
Tuesday Jan 07, 2020
To be mindful of your mental health is very often seen in some as being weak. Seeking mental healthcare, yoga, and even meditation falls under this stereotype. An argument can be made that in fact, taking care of your mental well-being is one of the strongest things you can accomplish. On this episode I'm sitting with Nayo Shell, host of the Meditation Matter podcast and we indeed discuss why it matter.

With gentrification on the rise, now more than ever it's important we support our black businesses. Especially the ones who has served the community for years. Yet how to find them? It's much easier said than done. So today I'm sitting with the creators of Black Owned Philly. They are creating a directory of black businesses in the Philadelphia area. We talk about how the community can support these businesses but also how the community has different expectations of black business owners than any other ethnicity.
